Wayne County Flood Information
As Wayne County, Indiana continues to recover from recent flooding, many local attractions, restaurants and shops have reopened and are ready to welcome visitors. While some areas may still be affected, much of Richmond and Wayne County remains open and accessible.
Visiting our community is one of the most meaningful ways you can support local recovery. Every meal enjoyed at a locally owned restaurant, purchase made at a small business, admission to an attraction and overnight stay generates vital tourism dollars that help local families, help sustain local jobs, support business owners and strengthen the Wayne County economy. Visitors are encouraged to keep their travel plans, explore businesses that are open and experience the welcoming communities throughout Wayne County. Your visit matters – and your support can make a positive, immediate impact as our community rebuilds and moves forward together.
Additional flood-relief resources and assistance information are available through the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce. Those wishing to help may make a monetary donation through the Wayne County Foundation to support individuals and families affected by the flooding.
