While improvements are underway, our local charm, vibrant communities, and unforgettable attractions are still wide open – and well worth the visit. Update: 4/7/26

The ramps to and from U.S. 27 and eastbound I-70 are scheduled to close on or after Wednesday, April 15. The exit ramp from eastbound I-70 to U.S. 27 is expected to reopen in mid-June. The entrance ramp from U.S. 27 to eastbound I-70 is expected to reopen in mid-August.

The official detour will follow eastbound I-70 to S.R. 227 (Exit 153) and westbound I-70 to Centerville Road (Exit 145).

Crews are rehabilitating the ramps. Concrete patching is planned for the ramps and U.S. 27, and crews will be doing extensive work to connect the ramps to I-70, including work on the acceleration and deceleration lanes.

Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.

Overnight lane restrictions are scheduled this week as progress continues on the I-70 corridor. Drivers can expect the following restrictions:

Monday, April 6

  • Westbound I-70 reduced to one lane at Plum Creek and Greens Fork bridges
  • Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane west of Brick Church Road

Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7

  • Westbound I-70 reduced to one lane at Greens Fork Bridge
  • Westbound I-70 reduced to one lane at Martindale Bridge

Closures are scheduled between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. each night.

Washington Road Closure

Washington Road is closed from Kepler Road to Moyer Road. The closure is expected to last through summer 2026. The signed detour utilizes Moyer, Jacksonburg and Kepler roads. The closure will allow crews to rehabilitate the bridge and add a new deck to extend its life.
