Richmond Symphony Orchestra Series Concerts

Maestro Andres Lopera returns for his second season as music director of your Richmond Symphony Orchestra with a lineup that harnesses the power, energy and exuberance of symphonic music. Join us for a musical journey through the circle of life during this big, inspiring concert. In addition to solos by Jessica Rivera (soprano) and Thomas Dreeze (baritone), this concert also unites the voices of Richmond’s outstanding choral groups. The Earlham College and Indiana University East choirs will be joined by the RSO Singers for a grand performance of Fauré’s Requiem.

This concert’s repertoire includes:
Prokofiev’s “Symphony No. 1” (Classical)
Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyl”
Fauré’s “Requiem in D minor Op. 48”
