Take flight on the Heartland Wine & Ale Trail
Whether you’re a budding wine connoisseur or a hardcore craft beer aficionado, Wayne County’s buzzy Heartland Wine & Ale Trail has got you covered. Simply pick your pleasure, then raise a glass and make a toast to our fine local collection of micro brewers and vintners!
This summer, the Heartland Wine & Ale Trail has expanded through the addition of two new wineries in Wayne County and a brewery just across the state line in Eaton, Ohio. This brings the grand total of participating operations up to 11, many of whom use regionally sourced ingredients like wheat, honey and fruit for production of their wares. The end results find their way into servings, flights and samples customers can enjoy on site, as well as bottles for purchase to take home.
