Temporary Lane Restrictions

Lane restrictions are scheduled this week on I-70 for barrier wall work and other activities. Drivers can expect the following restrictions:

Wednesday, Jan. 21 and Thursday, Jan. 22 (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.)

  • Eastbound I-70 reduced to a single lane near Washington Road

New Paris Pike
As a reminder, New Paris Pike will be restricted to a single lane at I-70 through early March. A temporary signal maintaining northbound and southbound traffic is expected to be installed on or after Monday, Jan. 19.

Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.

Washington Road Closure

Washington Road is closed from Kepler Road to Moyer Road. The closure is expected to last through summer 2026. The signed detour utilizes Moyer, Jacksonburg and Kepler roads. The closure will allow crews to rehabilitate the bridge and add a new deck to extend its life.
