If you’re organization is planning a convention, meeting, retreat, training, livestock or trade show, sports tournament, reunion or any gathering in the Richmond area, The Wayne County Convention & Tourism Bureau is delighted to assist you. Our group sales staff will provide you with a variety of services, anticipate additional needs, and connect you with local services to create the experience you desire

Attendance Builders

Videos, images, maps, and Visitor Guides, are available for distribution in advance of your event. We can also provide digital information, Visitor Guide links, QR Codes etc. as well as social media support.

Event Media Promotion

Our communications specialist, can assist with distributing your press release to nearby media outlets. We are happy to promote your event through our social media channels, community partners, and on our website. Or set up a Facebook live video interview. Communications@visitrichmond.org

City Welcome Requests

Event Welcome on Area Marquees

We have several marquees throughout the county upon which we will request the businesses post a welcome message for your group event if desired.

VIP Letters of Welcome

Depending upon the nature and size of your group, we can provide VIP letters of welcome- mayoral, county-wide for program books, a website posting or registration bags. (your group will feel acknowledged and welcome)

Welcome / Opening Ceremony

We can coordinate a welcome event or ceremony to welcome your group to the area.

Group Housing

Our organization offers exceptional event housing services. We can assist with setting up discounted staff accommodations, collecting event participant rate quotes, developing a personalized event reservation flyer and provide reservation assistance.
