Richmond is located on the border of eastern Indiana, just 30 min from Dayton, Ohio and approximately one hour east from Indianapolis, Indiana. RWC is surrounded by both nearby Indiana and Ohio attractions.
There are approximately 950 hotel/motel guest rooms in the RWC area in addition to a variety of Airbnb’s, bed and breakfasts’, and unique lodging accommodations. RWC also has 4 campgrounds offering over 280 site accommodations.

In addition to connecting you with appropriate event venues, lodging facilities, caterers, rental equipment companies, etc. for your participant’s off-site leisure time activities, RWC CTB can provide you with self-guided participant maps highlighting local flavor dining, attractions, shopping, wine tasting, etc.
RWC has a wide selection of both traditional and non-traditional event facilities to accommodate anything from small retreats to large conventions. (300-person capacity for professional events at Holiday Inn and the Quality Inn properties to thousands at our Wayne County Fairgrounds First Bank Exposition Center and county fairground facilities.
Additionally, there are both large and intimate recreational and sports facilities (indoor and outdoor) to host a variety of sporting competitions including baseball, basketball, bowling, disc golf, fast pitch, golf, pickle ball, skating, volleyball, wrestling, pool, BMX races, swimming, and more.
