If your organization is planning a convention, meeting, retreat, training session, livestock competition, trade show, sports tournament, reunion, or any gathering in the Richmond area, the Wayne County Convention & Tourism Bureau is delighted to assist. Our Group Sales staff will provide you with a variety of services, anticipate additional needs, and connect you with local vendors to create the experience you desire. Below is some of the services that we commonly offer to groups coming to Richmond/Wayne County.

Reservation Flyer: We have a professional relationship with all the hotels in the area, let us put that to work for you! We will get you discounted rates for your event and put together a flyer for your participants to easily decide which hotel best suits their personal accommodation needs.
Pre-Promotion: We will be happy to help you promote your event will content you provide on our website and social media pages. We are also happy to pass press releases on to our local news papers and radio stations. We can even help write press releases.
Participant Guidebook: A guidebook to our area, full of helpful resources, local maps, restaurant listings, group activity guides, golf courses, unique experiences, local shops, and more.
Grand Richmond Welcome: See your group welcomed to Richmond on the Welcome Centers electronic Marquee.
Mayoral Welcome: See your group welcomed to Richmond by the Mayor, subject to his/her availability.
Public Invite: Let us help get the local crowd informed and interested by listing you on the community calendars.
Registration Assistance: Do you need volunteers to help hand out packets or bags at registration? We can help with that!
On-site Hospitality & Information Station: Do you need volunteers to help hand out brochures and answer questions about the area? We can make sure your participants feel welcome and entertained. Includes visitor guides, local maps and other resource guides.
Local Discount Program: Locals savings coupon offered by various business in Wayne County. We can print a copy for your group or provide a mobile link for your group. Businesses offer various discounts.
Donated Prize Basket(s): A Basket made of various donated gifts of the wonderful vendors of Wayne County Indiana. This can be used as a door prize, raffle or however your organization prefers.
Resource Request: Need help finding local talent? We can help. Wither it be catering to a juggling clown we have a list of talent in various categories and contact information to help your event go just the way you imagine.
Registration Welcome Bags: Customized Welcome bags to suite your event needs. First 50 bags free, each additional bag 10 cents per bag.
Tote Bags: Customized Richmond Tote bags to suite your event needs. $1.00 per bag.
Farewell Boxes: Customized Farewell boxes to suite your event needs. $1.50 per box.
Local Break: Take a appetizer/hors d’oeuvres break during your conference. Have our local
eateries come set up and server your participants some local flavor $1.50 per
participant. Minimum number of participants may apply.
Richmond Logo Stuffed Animal: Enjoy a Richmond Indiana stuffed animal. $4.00 each.
