From hidden alleyways to busy streets, Wayne County’s murals define and capture the beauty, history and culture of the community. As you meander throughout the county, be on the lookout as more than 100 murals await you. There is a mural for every artistic palette from historical to whimsical and everything in between. Artists as far away as Italy have worked their magic to portray beauty and culture throughout the county. Wayne County murals helped land Richmond a national honor from the Paint Quality Institute as one of America’s Prettiest Painted Places.
