The Heartland Wine & Ale Trail spotlights the flavor of local wineries and breweries in scenic eastern Indiana.  With thirteen stops along the trail, you will find this journey to be a refreshing retreat for both the wine and ale enthusiast.  All sites are family-owned and are small production enterprises where tasting means talking directly with the owner, winemaker, or brewmaster.  Area wineries and breweries include 5 Arch Brewing Co., The Cordial Cork/Melton Renzulli Wines, Roscoe’s Coffee Bar & Tap Room, Pilgrimage Wine Co., Dougherty Orchards & Winery, The Cedar Coffee & Wine, Olde Schoolhouse Winery, A.R. Winery & Briar Brown Brewing Co.,  Bushrod Brew Works, Twenty One Barrels Cidery & Winery, and The Winery at Versailles.  Each tasting room on the trail offers its own unique experience, from country settings to cozy nooks loaded with charm.
