Starr-Dust Melody
Painted by Carvin L. Rinehart, In 1927, Hoosier songwriter Hoagy Carmichael first recorded “Stardust” at the Gennett Recording Studio in Richmond, Indiana, and considered one of the most important songs of the 20th century. My piano is an homage to the song, the artist, and of course, the Starr piano Hoagy played during that immortal studio recording in the Whitewater Valley Gorge.
