Springwood Chapel

The new chapel at Springwood is a beautiful venue for weddings and features a wooden chapel, rustic seating for about 90 people, and a beautiful flagstone walkway. The Chapel area has an open grassy space for large group pictures, tents, and/or yard games. It’s located in a secluded area of the park that allows for full privacy, but is also a short distance from the rest of the park and Thistlethwaite Falls which is also a perfect spot for pictures. Rental of the Chapel includes full access to the Springwood Pavilion as well, which is Richmond Parks and Rec’s largest enclosed facility, holding about 150 people. The pavilion has a full kitchen, electricity, parking, and bathrooms, making it the perfect place for wedding prep, a reception, catering, etc. There is also ample indoor and outdoor seating with shade from surrounding trees and an outdoor grill. This combination of both chapel and pavilion makes the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion.
