Seldom Scene Meadow Bed & Breakfast

We practice sustainable living values. In addition to serving locally grown foods, our property is supported by solar electric and passive solar hot water systems. Bedrooms are appointed with restored and/or locally crafted furnishings, original art, hardwood floors and natural fiber rugs. Public areas (living room, dining room, kitchen) as well as private guest rooms (1 first floor, 4 upstairs) provide a front row seat to birds and wildlife active in the surrounding Eastern Woodland and native grass meadow habitats. Reservations include a continental style breakfast of homemade breads, jams, yogurts, proteins and fresh fruits. Guests may request a hearty country breakfast served family style for an additional charge. A refrigerator is available located in the common kitchen area.
