Memorial Park contains memorials from the Civil War, WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Womens Memorial, Purple Heart Memorial and more all along the scenic Whitewater River. Two M3A3 Stuart tanks and a HUEY helicopter reside in the park as well. This beautiful memorial park was created by veterans for veterans.

The idea is simple: paint inspirational messages on rocks and leave them for others to find.

The Indiana State Historic Site Canal Boat Run, located in Old Metamora offers horse-pulled canal boat rides for your pleasure. A restored and operational Grist Mill, powered by the water of the canal, offers a unique opportunity to watch whole grains milled into cornmeal and grits.

Along this paved trail through the historic gorge area, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers will be able to explore the geological and historical significance of the Whitewater Gorge, as well as its natural rugged beauty. Fossils found along the trail are from animals that lived about 450 million years ago on the bottom of a warm shallow sea that covered this area. Free.
This 200-acre Whitewater Lake offers kayaks, paddle boats, rowboats, canoe rental, electric trolling motor boating. Fishing, swimming, horseback riding, picnicking, campground, shelters, and family cabins are also available. Accessible to Brookville Reservoir. Open year round. Admission charged.
