The Wayne County Convention and Tourism Bureau has been closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as it continues to unfold. Based on the most current information received to date we have made the decision to close the Old National Road Welcome Center to the public until further notice. The Center's 24/7 information foyer will remain open offering immediate access to our Wayne County Visitor Guides, as well as, other local & state information.

The state of Indiana is working to get Back On Track by July 4th with staggered openings of different industries. STAGE 3 MAY BEGIN MAY 22 FOR ALL INDIANA COUNTIES EXCEPT: Cass, Lake, and Marion counties. The following facilities may open under restrictions outlined by the Governor's plan, you can see detailed information HERE. Although listed below, businesses in these categories may have their own guidelines and opening dates.
- Retail and malls at 75% capacity
- Restaurants at 50% capacity
- Religious Services
- Fitness Facilities
- Social Gatherings up to 100 people
