Take in the beauty of nature as you collect leaves from 55 different trees during the ArbLeaf program. The self-guided leaf collecting trail located at Hayes Arboretum, 801 Elks Road, Richmond, offers a unique opportunity to collect and organize your discoveries. Hayes Arboretum will remain open until 6:30 P.M. Tuesdays through Fridays and until 5:00 P.M. on Saturdays until October 24th, 2014.

Roscoe’s Coffee Bar and Tap Room offers a large variety of choices for any coffee lover and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, a great place to sit down and read a good book while warming up!
Get ready for some freight as many Halloween events are right around the corner. The popular zombie walk is Saturday, October 11th along main street in Richmond. A new haunted trail has launched this year and many kid friendly activities are planned throughout the community. The Haunted Museum, Oct. 17&18, 24&25, at the Wayne County Historical Museum will be decorated for kids to enjoy a not-so-spooky trip through the museum with story telling, treats and more. $5/adult, $3/children 3-17, Free/children 0-2.
